Product Introduction
The CY-D series dynamic reactive power compensation device uses thyristors as non-contact switches to quickly switch multi-stage capacitor banks without transition processes. It overcomes the shortcomings of traditional reactive power compensation devices, such as easily burnt contactor contacts, vulnerable capacitors, and low power factors, and can effectively compensate for various fast-transient impact loads.
The three-phase independent control technology adopted by this product successfully solves the technical problem of dynamic reactive power compensation for three-phase unbalanced impact loads. The zero-current switching technology overcomes the technical problem that thyristors are prone to misfiring and damage in harmonic environments when using zero-voltage switching.
The CY-D series dynamic reactive power compensation device features fast dynamic response (less than 20ms), enabling real-time dynamic reactive power compensation to increase the power factor to over 0.95. It can reduce voltage fluctuations, suppress voltage flicker, save energy, reduce consumption, and improve the utilization rate of power transmission and transformation equipment.
